6:52am: James is up and getting ready for his first day of second grade.
7:05 Elizabeth is up and getting ready for her first day of Kindergarten.
Too bad they had to wait until 8:45 to leave the house!
It was an exciting morning. Anna cannot wait until her turn comes.
After picking up Elizabeth from school, we hit a couple sales and met Daddy for lunch which proved to be all the kids could handle because all three crashed in the car.
Now the cookies are in the oven and I am enjoying a little quiet time as I anxiously wait to hear how our Jamers' first day went. Elizabeth is delighted to be in a class full of neighborhood friends!

Um, can I just say how crazy it is to see kids wearing jackets on the first day of school? I looked at Elizabeths outfit and thought "that child is going to melt". Guess thats the difference of living in ID vs. TX. Okay, you must realize how nice it is to not have to leave your house until 8:45 ... we have to leave at 7:30 if they are going to catch the bus. How fun that she knows so many kids in her class (bummer for you that its not all day)!
Thanks for documenting this momentous event, especially since this is also Elizabeth's first day of public school for the next 13 years. She looks very sophisticated. James looks ready to excel. Fun.

What fun times--well, except Anna going head first. Nice to get it in the picture for documentation that she truly deserves to go to Chuck E Cheese. I can't believe how grownup Lizzy looks in those pictures. She is so beautiful.
