HEAD start

Anna started her first day of (pre)school, too. Good thing the camera battery decided to give us one picture before it died.
{Anna chose her 1st day of school outfit, too. --Do I even need this disclaimer??}
And I have to say that yes, it really was cold enough those first few days of school to wear long sleeves and jackets. I've always gotten a kick out of (mostly jr.high) students who wear their new "school clothes" the first few days of school- jackets, sweaters, and all, despite the 90 degree weather. But the morning our kiddos left for their first day of school, it was 40 degrees!
I snagged these shots from my car window of Lizzy in her Kindergarten line.
She is a head taller than most in her class!

And yes, the new-ness is wearing off, and it isn't quite as fun getting ready in the mornings. Just 8 months left though...

My mother has a photo similar to this of me in kindergarten standing at a painting easel. A queen's stature has been the girls' tradition in our family for generations. Own it, Liz. You will achieve great things.
