While on the phone with my sister, I was preparing a few rooms in our house to have the carpets cleaned when I walked into the kitchen to find Anna, head upside down over the trashcan, chopping away. These remnants on the floor were maybe 1/3 of what was already in the trash. (thoughtful girl- keeping things clean).
The damage:
Our friend just suffered a similar hairloss, so I contacted her beautician who'd just had practice on such a "do" and off to the beauty salon we went.
(no, I did not make her wear a hat. That is just Anna. Hat, sunglasses, pointing out all of the long-beautiful hairdo's she'd now like.)
Anna really enjoyed the whole experience.
Somehow I didn't manage to get an "after" picture. Here is one of her at the park on Saturday though. I'm sure there will be plenty more pictures of her to come...
Ahhh, we love our Anna.
(Who, by the way, told me today "When I grow up I want to be a unicorn. Actually, I'll be a grown-up."

That's really cute. It did make for a cute haircut. I know she will end up being a hairdresser, stylist, fashionista when she is a grown up. She has a flair for it.
