Anna: "Only if you call Daddy and ask him how he makes it".
So I did. I called Daddy at work and asked for his top secret method of cooking Kraft Mac 'n Cheese.
I suppose the difference is that he uses extra butter. We've only been making kraft mac'ncheese a few years here. I don't care for the stuff- so I rarely think to make it. Therefore, it has become Daddy's specialty.
While adding the milk Anna says "Daddy didn't really tell you the right way."
me: "why wouldn't he?"
Anna: "Because he doesn't want anyone to know how he makes it."
After following Daddy's directions to a T, I dished up the kiddos. After the first bite, Jojo exclaimed YES! When I asked if it was good. Anna looked at me and replied -"This doesn't taste just like Daddy's. See, Daddy was just teasing (on the phone)."
Side note: Speaking of macaroni, I also apologize to the Royal City Ward for Joseph's alleged outburst of "Macaroni" in the middle of a primary lesson on Sunday. See, the building is being remodeled, so there is no space for nursery. I sent Jojo to primary with the other kids, and he evidently needs to practice reverence before he joins the big kids in 8 months...
