Spending 3 weeks away from the family is a long time, especially for someone who has already spent 5 months apart this past year. So Jimmy arranged to have his parents watch James and Elizabeth while Anna and I joined him in Tucson for the weekend. We had a nice, relaxing time together -thanks Gramma and Pa!
Anna was a great traveler, despite a Las Vegas layover.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Claim Jumpers then drove around downtown Tucson and hit a Redbox on our way home.
Dan in Real Life is a pretty good flick.
After cleaning the church early Saturday morning, we went up to Phoenix, shopping at the outlets along our way. We had fun with Anna in the pool at Jeff's hotel (thanks for the GREAT hook up!!!) She was very leery of the pool at first, but eventually enjoyed playing and after a while I put her in this floatie where she just about fell asleep!
Later that night we went to Dave and Busters for dinner and hung out in Tempe then hit a Bass Pro Shop where Jimmy daydreamed of the day he is free from studies and can take his boy out camping and animal watching. Oh, and we of course hit a Bahama Bucks before bed. Mmmm!
By the end of the night, Anna had had enough. 20 seconds after we took this shot, Anna was OUT. I know, I know- what a great looking bunch. Jim's mustache, Anna's angry and my eyes look like they are about to bug out of my overly excited face! yikes.

It all sounds like so much fun, other than the cleaning the church part. I bet you and your husband are so glad you went. Ariel has that outfit Anna is wearing. Too cute, although it will not fit her when it is warm enough to wear it.
Uh oh--Magnum is back! I'm glad the stash was gone by the time the wedding came around. Blaine would be wanting one SO badly if he had seen that beauty. Love it, Jim!
I am jealous--of your hair, time away and BAHAMA BUCKS! It looks like you guys had a wonderful time.
