Strawberry Fields Forever

We had so much fun making strawberry jam with our friends

that we decided to go for round 2 at our home.
James and Anna each came in for a turn...

but Elizabeth was my true helper as we washed, hulled, purred and mixed the strawberries.

Anything better than homemade strawberry jam on homemade bread? ... Or German pancakes?... Or with a spoon?...

Hey, cooking is supposed to be hard work, not play. What a pretty apron -- and it's still clean after all that! I love the new family portrait in front of Bridal Veil Falls. You hiked up there with #4?! You look as fresh and breezy as a super model on location. Happy Birthday, Anna!

Thanks for sharing the jam with our family. It's better than candy. Your bread was delish too. Caleb loved the April Fool's day dinner. You always go the extra mile with fun, great things. Your kids are so lucky to have you. Come to think of it, my kids benefit a lot from your creativity as well. Thanks.
