at 2 1/2 weeks, Joseph meets many neighbors 
After the parade we enjoyed a neighborhood BBQ
(where Anna innocently brought me a can from a cooler to open for her... too bad I wouldn't let her drink the beer!)
Yup- Lady Liberty and all...
Then off to another BBQ with great friends.

Jimmy passes out sparklers as we wait for the real show to begin.
And finally, after 10:00 it is dark enough to watch the fireworks show!!!

James oooh's and ahhh's were enough to humor (or irritate) the random people near us.

I still dont understand why you wouldnt let Anna have a beer. She would have slept GREAT! BTW you are amazing. You've got this itty bitty baby and not only do you NOT hibernate at home (which is what I intend to do w/ this kid) but you take all of them to a million different fun activities! Kudos!
I feel guilty that it's been so long since I've read your blog. But it's always so fun to catch up! I love little Joseph already! Looks like you guys had a great 4th and I have no doubt that you're handling for kiddos with flying colors. Love you!
