This polling is kinda fun. I have to say that Miriam has grown on me over the past couple of weeks, and I would say it's my #1 choice. When I brought it up with Jim recently, he spoke in a nasally voice, impersonating a "Miriam" suggesting if I wanted to talk with her, I'd find her alone in her room, knitting a sweater. It isn't that bad, is it?!
Yes, I love Abigail too (Jim's #1) but here's my hang up (other than the fact that it is the 8th most popular name in the US and she'll likely be "Abigail H" all her elementary days...). We have James and Joseph born in June, Anna and Abby born in April... then there's Elizabeth. Is that silly reasoning? Will Lizzy ever even care??!!?!

I LOVE the name Miriam. Beautiful. Classic. Not overused. And, these days it's the beautiful, stylish girls that have taken up knitting.
Plus, it's a family and biblical name that means exalted.

I would go with Esther or Eden. Those are my favorites! I love the name Abigail, but it's just used way too much. Esther reminds me of Esther W. <3 from LRAFB.
I want to vote for just "Jane." Not Mary Jane, so I couldn't use your poll.
And all the names are cute. I will have to vote against the most popular US name, as Michelle C. was an awful school experience for me. I always wanted something unique.

I do like Miriam as well as (Mary) Jane. Both are very pretty names. I would have to agree with other comments related to Abigail. It's a cute name, just used a lot right now. Have fun deciding....you are getting very close to meeting her.
I am VERY fond of Eden and Elise for your E names. I think that would be special to find one with an E to go along with Elizabeth, however not necessary, just fun. I think Eden Miriam Hawk sounds beautiful :D Yes, Abigail is VERY popular... You'll know when you hear it. Here are all my "girl names" I like. Hope something sparks HER name :D
Aris, Joslyn, Chalyn (Shalen),Ava, Virtue (I actually know a girl who named her daughter that, thought it was really neat and beautiful). Kimber, Callie, Serene Adelaide, Kelia Elise, Carly.
