Let the Celebrations Begin!!!

Enough of a pause from picture uploading because of a measly $5. Here's a glimps of what I was going to post last week... minus a few pictures b/c they aren't uploading right ...grrrrrr.

April 6th, Anna's birthday, marks the beginning of all 5(!?!!!?!) of our children's spring birthdays- within a 10 week period.

Boy did Anna bring in the 2011 celebrations with a bang! We held pre-school at our house and called it her "bug" themed birthday party. Unfortunately our 2 boys were unable to make it, so we tweaked it a bit to cater more towards ladybugs and butterflies. The girls loved every minute- especially just playing with one another!

Hannah uses bug tweezers to choose a gummy butterfly
We went on a bug hunt. Holland places one of her bugs into her bug catcher for future examination...
Brinley finds a bug, too!
place the dot on the ladybug
Anna chose to go out to lunch with Mom and Dad to a place where she'd get free ice cream.
She became giddy, nervous and extremely shy as the band of 1/2 dozen approached her with a tambourine and drums.

Ahhh, but the humiliation was worth it!
The highlight of Anna's big 4th b-day was taking her, Lizzy, and cousin Hazel to a "spa" (as she called it) where they were pampered with mini-mani/pedi's, hair-do's, treats, and all sorts of girlie fun!

The girls and boys enjoyed dress ups!

These 2 cousins were rockin' to all the music fave's like Can't Touch this and Who let the Dogs Out.
Hazel and Anna create their lipgloss

While Lizzy chose to make lotion

A fun time had by all!!!

Thanks for including us in the festivities! Hazel had a lot of fun. And it looks like Joanna had a great bday.

Wow, it doesn't get any more festive than that. What a wonderful celebration for a very special young lady. Happy birthday, Anna.

Anna cracks me up. She reminds me so much of Annie! They both seem to enjoy all the same 'girly' things.
Wow, 5 birthdays in a ten week period. I should stop complaining about having 3 of my kids birthdays within 6 weeks!
