James Richard's Baptism and Abigail Pearl's Blessing

in their grandparents' ward in Utah

Having 5 children within 8 years of each other makes for some busy, memorable occasions.

This handsome young man turned 8! Although it was 4 months ago (?!), it still warrants a blogpost. In fact, it was such an awesome occasion that I wanted to make the post special and therefore just put it off and off and off. Now I figure I'd better just get it up before the kid starts driving...

He is a super big brother. Monday night, after a fun FHE with some friends at a pumpkin patch, James said this was the best week ever, except for when Abby was born and when he was baptized. -He adores his baby sister. He is always willing to hold, play with, and rescue her. It was special for him to share his baptism day with her blessing.

Abigail shared in the spotlight. Her daddy sure thinks she's something special. 

Abigail Pearl was named after her Papa's mom- Pearl Payne. Here Papa burps her in a dress Grandmother made.
