What a great, warm winter we've enjoyed! Well, I say we... mostly just me though. Everyone else in the family has been missing the SNOW! So a few weeks ago we went with cousin Gavyn up to a cabin where we found plenty of that white stuff.
The sledding was fantastic!
After waking up early, James had this brilliant idea to "sled" down the deck steps in his mummybag.
Unfortunately he neglected to think ahead about how he would get back up. The icey, slick, freezing cold snow proved too much for bare feet.
Even with boots and snow clothes on, Anna needed Gavyn's help climbing up the same steps hours later...
Lizzy joined them for a while, but preferred playing with toys inside the warm cabin.
My view of the kids sledding for most of the time. Taking 6 kids 8 and under sledding would have been fine, had the youngest not been 9mo & 2... Jojo, Abigail and I ended up in the car.
These pictures are completely out of order... but the night before sledding, uncle Dave and Daddy took the kids to the hot springs! This is how Anna left... coat, suit, and dress up shoes.
No- no trip to Yellowstone this year, yet. But a Sunday drive took us to plenty of Elk and deer eating right off the side of the road!
