Lizzy has been doing her own hair since before 1st grade began. Lately she has wanted to just "leave it down" but it always seems in her face and looks unkempt. While trimming Anna's bangs last night, Lizzy decided she also would like bangs- because I told her she could wear her hair down more often that way (w/o hair falling in her face as much).
She's pretty thrilled. And after adoring herself in the mirror for 10 minutes, she concluded that this new 'do is definitely more of an "Elizabeth" style than "Lizzy".
Unlike Elizabeth, Anna LOVES having her hair curly.
Oh, and since we are on the subject of daughter's and hair, I should post a picture of Abigail's 1st ponytail last Sunday. Did I ever mention her 1st haircut? It involved Anna and gum.
