ROAD TRIP!

We took the scenic route to our new home, starting off with an unplanned stop in Loa, where we hooked up with old friends and got to feed their horses, moo at cows, chase chickens and turkeys and smell new baby pigs! Later, Elizabeth scared mommy to death as she ran away from Daddy at an overlook but thankfully tripped before meeting the drop off (a major reason we decided to save the trip to the Grand Canyon for another vacation). Our break in Tempe was much appreciated as we went to In 'N Out Burger with Uncle Jeff- only to be topped by a swim in his pool- THANKS again, Jeff! Shortly before arriving at our destination the first night, Anna had had enough- so for the last 15 minutes of that drive, I turned the kid's DVD player around and Anna's tears and screaming ceased as she was introduced to the "little people" DVD. Notice the picture of James and Elizabeth - yes, even they had enough traveling... ahhhh, the joys of road trips!!!
