I have mentioned before that our kids enjoy the movie Top Gun. After watching it with Daddy this week (at Anna's request- "gun, gun") then hearing James innocently quote "watch the birdie" and Elizabeth playing with her toys saying "your friend was magnificent" I insisted that Jim find an edited version of the show. The kids have never picked up on the swear words (James just recently learned the term "swear word") and think when I tell them some of the language is inappropriate that I am referring to the line "I'd like to bust your butts but I can't". But I'd rather not have the language in our home- 'cuz i DO know what it means.
Anyway- here's my point. Jim found a website called http://www.cleanplaydvds.com/ that sells already edited DVDs. The place is going out of business on the 30th and the videos seem to be a good deal. I know nothing of the site (if it is even legit!) but thought I'd pass this along, in case you're in the market or looking for a certain show.
That's all.

Who's the LAME-O cousin of yours who hasn't caught up on your blog in five years? I AM!!! So fun for ME, though! Anna "napping" cracks me up, "baby" Elizabeth is adorable, Jim is amazing for his projecting while you were gone, and I'm totally jealous of your DC trip. So fun for you!

Funny that I totally remember watching "Top Gun" as a kid and not really comprehending the things I quoted either. Same with "Ghostbusters". Hilarious.
Oh, and sorry about the pirate joke. :)
