The house was quiet for 3 hours today while Jimmy and kids were at church. It was then that I realized I haven't started the dishwasher more than once in the past 2 weeks, nor have I done more than a couple loads of laundry. Mom left today and reality is beginning to set in. No more sitting on the couch nursing the day away to find an empty sink, entertained children, and dinner on the table for the 6 (!) of us when Daddy returns from a long day at work. I have also been spoiled by amazing friends who have brought dinner over nearly every night since Joseph was born!
I hope Albertson's cereal sale goes through Wednesday... I really need to stalk up...

I still think he looks like Lizzy, although I have heard that others see more of James. Where's your poll on this? He's a beauty, any way you look at him. Thanks for letting us see how much he is changing in such a short time.
Such a sweetie! Hope this week goes well for you as you adjust once again!!!! Aren't moms great?!
Cute guy. That is sweet of your mom to help like that. You live in a great neighborhood with help like that too. I can't believe 2 weeks have already passed! Its still crazy to me that he's already here.
Holy crap ... when you wrote dinner for 6 that really hit me. When did we grow up and become parents? I mean the day to day junk I definitely feel like a mom but when I realize we are becoming a family of 6, that makes it even more real! Good luck woman!
Mom's are the best!!! and thanks for your thoughts and prayers - I had a rough day and am sooo greatful for prayer.
Oh Karin he is just perfect!
I'm still dying over this delivery story... whew!
What a cute boy! So does the lack of help in the Hawkes home mean you've sent them to my house? ;)
He is so wonderful! As you mentioned your mom leaving I had this flashback to those times when my mom left...I cried a LOT those days. Good luck adjusting...you will do wonderfully!!!
