a final family camping adventure

Camping with critters.

This is what we woke up to.
The smart little critters opened up our cooler, and even left pawprints!
(we're guessing raccoons?)

I could be wrong, but this was likely our final family camping trip of the year. I am so, so looking forward to cooler weather, but there is something to be said for family summer bonding time.

And it's even greater when shared with good friends!
The warm spring pool was a great way to enjoy the crisp mountain morning.

Jim and Scott prepare to take their boys fishing

Thanks for your patience and expertise, Scott!

Sarah and Lizzy were happy as could be just playing wherever we went.
This sport of fishing will take some getting used to for a 6 year old who likes to see immediate results...
Mmmm...

I love how Joseph is just chillin' amongst all the hustle and bustle of busy kids.

Helper Hannah!

Mmmm chipmunks like blue peanut M&M's
