After spraying PAM in Elizabeth's bangs 3 times this week to get gum out (that her brother put in) James is banned from gum for the month.
Ironic that Lizzy would be the one with it in her hair, since she hates the stuff. But 3 times in 5 days has more than made up for 6 years of child-rearing with no gum-in-hair-incidences.
(no, this is not the most exciting news to blog about around here, but it is late, and I wanted to get something posted. So stay tuned for many, many pictures to come!)

Try peanut butter next time. It smells a lot better and I think is easier to get the stuff out with. At our house Aliya is the one who loves hair but luckily she only gets it in HER hair. Unfortunately she also has hair to her butt ... where did our two hairy kids come from? I swear, those two are supposed to be twins.
Daniel, at age 11, still thinks he has to ask permission to have gum, and I usually say no.
Oh dear...We haven't had gum-in-hair yet, but I have had several gum-in-carpet experiences :) The quote you have from Pres. Monsen on your side bar is so inspiring. That is exactly what I need to hear...every day! In fact, I am going to copy it over to my blog if you don't mind.
