This is where waffles end up

when you use baking soda instead of baking powder.

Jim wasn't the least impressed when I insisted it was the only time I could think of where I've made that mistake.

I recently had a problem with baking soda and the tbsp. and tsp. thing when I was making cookies. They're not being gobbled up very quickly and will have the same fate at your waffles, I'm afraid. Just like you, this was my first time making such a mistake.;)
