OUCH!

While packing up the van for our weekend travels, was riding his little scooter and hit a bump in the sidewalk. The handlebars got him square in the center of his forehead!

I set him on the couch with a bag of frozen peas to hold to his head to keep swelling and pain down.
Unfortunately I had already made it a point that the kids had used up any allotted TV time for the day, so I had to get around that without backing down on my word by putting in a "preschool" video- which they love!

Within minutes of this incident, I was back out at the van where Elizabeth was playing and she managed to climb over the back seat, fall into the "trunk" area then land on the street! She also required a frozen bag of veggies. And as I came back in to check on the two injured pair, I found them munching on their first aid...

That looks serious! Do those photos of James indicate he was suffering from a concussion?

So can anyone learn how to do that with their eyes? What talent!

it is amazing how James can do that with his eyes. One time at church when i was sitting next to Carter i looked over at James randomly during sacrament meeting and he was doing that. I told Carter to look at him and we both started laughing. It is a cool talent.
