Air Show

Jimmy spent this past weekend in his first airshow. I asked him to blog about it before work, but that didn't happen, and for fear of falling further behind in our "journaling", I'll go ahead and recap his experience. He flew his plane out to it, then spend the evening eating dinner with the Thunder bird pilots. All day Saturday Jim stood beside his plane answering questions, looking cool, and watching the amazing aircraft perform overhead. Jim said if you wanna feel special, go to an event like this. Everyone who came by him as he stood beside his plane was in awe of what he did and expressed sincere gratitude for his service. He had a blast! Wish we could have joined him- I LOVE airshows! But what took him 40 minutes to fly to would have taken me 7 hours of driving with 3 kids... not this year...
