As has been noted, I have had a bit of a blogging break (if 4 days w/o a post is a "break"). Yes, life has been busy as usual, and add to that an active boy getting used to functioning minus one arm and you get occasional chaos. But even this wouldn't stop me from keeping up with mundane posts, repetitive pictures or checking in on family and friends.
Perhaps the real reason for my slacking is due to a subtle hint I received
Now tell me, how would YOU take such a "gift"?

that's a bloody compliment right there! Cheers to blogging...which sister-in-law gave that, I'll open a can of %^&*( j/k. Blogging is the greatest form of Family History EVER!!!
I love that! I have to have one! Where did your SIL get it?
Take it as a compliment. Your house is always clean (as clean as can be with kiddos running around). Glad to hear James is adjusting. Love the picts of the bday. Why did we never do boondocks when we were there? Guess we need to come visit!
Okay, I was going to blame the "gift" on Laura after reading the first comment. Now I don't feel like a rude SIL after reading the second 2. I thought it was so funny and knew you had the sense of humor to appreciate it.
Wow. I apparently haven't checked your blog in a while because I think it just took me 3 hours to catch up! (totally kidding) Really though, you guys have been BUSY. Poor little James's arm, the amazing fly by (I am one of those Patriotic boobs, too), bumper boats, mini golf... I'm amazing you still have time to BLOG it, let alone keep an immaculate house, too. Glad you guys are having so much fun!
That is the funniest thing I have seen. Yeah, how do you take that?
When I got my first Commodore 64 (please tell me you've heard of those before), I was told it would solve all my problems in keeping track of who in my den had earned which Webelos badges. But you had to write all commands in DOS and it was way more work than help. Today's point and shoot computers truly bless lives! But aren't they time eaters? Cute sign. I need one.
