The kids were really intrigued by our visit to the cemetery.
Elizabeth was rather hesitant about the idea of walking around, James enjoyed reading names and headstones and understood the reverence of it all, and Anna thought it was a great break from the car and tried running around. We don't live near any family cemeteries, but will have to make it a point to visit them when we are close.
I was able to coerce Elizabeth out of the car for one more picture by her great-great-grandmother's grave. A sweet, darling woman whom we both were named after (unfortunately "Lyn" was not included in her engraving...).

How good you are to teach them, though. We don't live near any family burial sites either, unfortunately.
And as for you children, they are absolutely adorable! I love love love the first day of school pictures!
what a neat thing to do - and to see grass at a greaveyard is fun also - ours look like your crossing the plains - or you got buried in Tombstone! :)
