We have created a fun Sunday evening tradition where we watch a PBS nature show together. Tonight's highlights were watching a llama's cousin ( I don't remember what it was) give birth, and a male lion kick out another male, get chased by several females, then kill their young (in order to ensure they would give him offspring). Amazing footage, and so interesting! None of this seemed to bother the kids. But when a Madagascar ring-tail cat chose to leave her weak newborn in order to stay with her 'pack' (litter?), after returning to it 5 times, James lost it! Oh, heart breaking. What do you say to that?
Luckily the cute, silly little monkeys got him smiling again.
