...And How We Spent the Holiday

What a great excuse to do all things pink!  Of course our breakfast included a fruit smoothyHelpers sure are great! (*HINT: we've learned that egg shells sink, so the 6 year old can  crack the eggs, and when we slowly pour them into the rest of the mixure, the crunchy shell remains in the bowl!)
Thanks for the thoughtful gifts, Grandmas!!!
James and Lizzy deemed this dude our mini-missionary.
After church, we spent some family time flying airplanes, then headed to the hills to try out Jim's new scope and enjoy a little warmer weather!
Don't let the lace and flowers fool you- that dimple proves there is a Joseph under that jacket (his is blue, too, and I grabbed the wrong one, alright!)
Anna and I stayed in the warm car with Joseph...
Awww
And Mr. Joseph man is a push-up king!  Looks like he'll be our earliest crawler, if he keeps this up!
Anna fell asleep with her nice Daddy (compared to her mom, who sent her back to bed half a dozen times...)

Prior to Valentine's Day, we got to have Anna's playgroup over for a Valentine's Day party!
Brinley, Holland, Hannah, Brynna and Anna.
Cute, fun buddies!
Joseph appreciated Anson's visit.
Anna and Hannah.  Such silly girls!

James was excited to come up with his own Valentine cards.  He typed these (adding color, image, thought bubble all on his own, as I didn't even know they existed) and was excited to give them to his friends with a little plastic bug.  The $1 Store didn't come through for us though, so we had to settle for gummy worms.
Not sure how this relates to Valentine's Day, but boy was he happy with his V-day bug box!
Elizabeth's creative pre-school teacher for the day sent her home with her very own mailbox!

Such a great holiday to celebrate those we love.

Cute pic of Hannah and Anna. Again, thanks for putting up with my crazy kid that day. I can't believe that Jim got his scope! I love the picture of the fruit/pancake. That's a blue ribbon winner at the fair for sure.

Talk about making the most of Valentine's Day. Awesome. I am trying not to feel like a major slacker and party pooper after seeing all of that fun and effort.
