Downtown

As I've mentioned I took a photography class to become better acquainted with my little camera.  Well, thanks to Michelle, our instructor was talked into taking us on a field trip downtown.
It was a blast, and I learned even more.
Especially that I love black and white photos...

We missed you, Jen and 2 other random ladies from class;)!
These people were volunteering to paint this mural, and ended up asking us to send them copies of our pic's, as they wanted documentation of their project.

Oh, he was just the perfect backpacking friend.

Jim happened to get out of meetings as we were finishing up, so he met us at the Capitol Building. This daddy adores his baby boy.  And his wife, as he was willing to pose for a few shots for me.  But doesn't this uniformed soldier look great in front of the Capitol Building by the flags?!

Wow! Those are great pics. I LOVE the one on Jim in front to the Capital with the flags. That is an award winner.

Yes, Jim DOES look great in front of the Capitol building with all those flags! I especially love the one of him with Joseph. What a fantastic family you have. :)
