It's Raining, It's Pouring

Kristin and I packed up our 5 kids and drove nearly 6 hours to spend time with family and celebrate her upcomming new arrivals.

I decided last minute to throw together a surprise shower with some ol' friends of ours from high school.

After spending what, 2+ hours together at lunch, with neither Anna nor Lucy saying one word to each other (despite only a 2 week age difference) Lucy approached Anna as we left and asked her to come over for a play date.  Funny 2 year olds:)

Awfully fun shopping for both a boy and girl gift! -People are so generous.

Then onto the family shower at the McConkie's.  -More people we really should get together with more often!!! (Missed you, Megan and Michelle -and of course all you non-Utah residents!)

This was a joint shower for these cousins and former roommates.

I may or may not have been too proud to switch my camera to automatic to get good lighting for these pictures.  Sorry, Kristin;)
