accomplished

After spending a week caring for sick kids (which is super fun when my own stomach was churning and had a baby kicking to add to the queasiness) it felt good to do something not on my daily to-do list.

I had to clear my craft table from the Halloween material that still lingered from my last projects (sad it'd been that long since I've sewn last!) and made these two blankets -one for our friend, Ruby, who is due the same time as our little girl, and the other for nephew, Liam.

Iif only we could come up with a name for our little one...

p.s. THANKS for the tutorial, Annee and Liz. I loved the idea of adding a name -and I left Ruby's with a surged edge.

Those are so cute! It almost makes me want to have another baby to qualify for one. Almost. I guess I will just have to live vicariously through the rest of you young moms. From, Katie
p.s. we missed you.

Wow, I'm impressed! I have a project or two I should be working on... but I just ignore them to avoid the overwhelming feeling! ;)
