Conference Weekend

We are looking forward to this weekend. We will be celebrating Anna's 1st birthday, and we will certainly enjoy listening to our Prophet and many other church leaders during General Conference. When we lived in Utah and even Idaho, we were lucky enough to watch this on T.V. in our own home. And when we first moved here, we also watched Conference at home- because we signed up for a good cable deal. But the deal is long gone, and so is our cable, so this weekend we will be joining thousands, at least, I imagine, listening on http://www.lds.org/. Hopefully we will make it to our church building for Sunday's sessions. I received a FUN packet to help keep the kids (and us?) entertained and focused, and couldn't figure out a way to share it with you, 'til Uncle Pete posted it on the web. Thanks Pete! So click here and you, too, can color the ties of the speakers, or make your way through the maze to President Monson...
I encourage you to find a way to listen to even one talk. I guarantee you will leave feeling uplifted, and most likely have an answer to whatever you may be dealing with in your life.
I LOVE the feeling of peace and assurance I feel after spending a weekend listening to
these wonderful men and women of God!

Thanks for the great link to the conference packet! Our primary gave all the kids one to do and my kids did them all today! So it will be nice to have another to do tomorrow! ;)

We had Ellen and Geoff, along with Candace and Kaylee at our home in Vienna for the afternoon session on Saturday. The Conference Bingo was a big hit with them. We even created more Bingo cards on our own.
