Whenever Jim comes home, the kids like to hide from him. He then hunts them down and tickles them.
Well, when he came home from work on Tuesday and pretended to sit down on the couch,

he realized the surprise was on him! The kids helped me stuff their clothes for a perfect little April Fool's joke on Dad.

It started when I stuffed Jim's flight suit, put his boots in their place and threw a blanket over the top. I set it up then told the kids Daddy was hiding and they had to go find him. James was so sure of himself that when he unveiled the blanket, it took everyone by surprise. Hilarious. These kids are at such FUN ages! Anna, however, did NOT appreciate the joke. She was so confused and just yelled at the dad-
impersonator. Still, it was OK until Jim came home, learned of the fun and SAT on 'himself'. Yup- then Anna lost it. Poor kid.
We also went to the park with playgroup and searched for fool's gold (for which we'd spray painted rocks gold)

and mixed up our
menu a bit, as we ate cheese, crackers and ham for breakfast, a
casserole for lunch, and waffles for dinner.

Silly holiday...
