James knows he can bribe Anna to do anything for "gum gum". I had asked him to bring her upstairs the other day, and this is what I saw at the top of the stairs...
She adores her brother. And as of late, she has finally taken to her big sis, too. Elizabeth and Anna enjoy playing together and it is so precious to watch them! However, Anna has also taken to blaming Elizabeth for various mishaps. My favorite recent one was when we were making bracelets with aunt Laura and Anna watched cousin Hazel put a bead in her mouth. Anna then put one in her mouth- and swallowed. I asked where it went and she said Sissy did it.
Anna was terrified of this fish over Christmas break at my parent's house.
It was hilarious, and over time, Papa was the one who seemed to have eased her into liking the fish (by cutting off its beady white eyeballs, mind you). She woke up one morning, found the fish and brought it to Daddy. She knew he would be so proud of her overcoming this fear.
The fish then became Anna's best friend and had to go everywhere with her.
Until one random day she was once again afraid of the little thing,
as well as many other toys ( a lizard, frog...)
The observant little rascal caught me getting into some before bed last week, and for nights requested "kookie-dough" just before getting into bed...
