One Finishes, A New One Begins

I posted a while back about Jim's last city league basketball game. Then this month rolled around and it was full of tournament games. Although he was unable to make it to a few of the games, and some were too late for us to attend, we were able to cheer daddy on at a couple of his final games and they were awesome! Last week's win was in OT and Monday night they were behind the first bit and by the half it was tied. The game ended with Jim's team winning by nearly 30 points! Unfortunately, he was unable to be at the final game last night, where they played the same team, this time loosing by 6 points.
But it was a fun season and 2nd place is a pretty good title.

Now that his tournament is over, it's time to print out our family brackets and get highlighting. This year all 5 of us joined in on my mom's family's March Madness tradition -16 years and counting! We have probably tripled our family size in that time, and it is great family bashing, er, uh, bonding for 2 straight weeks! Cousins, aunts, and uncles, most of whom don't watch a basketball game all season, fill out our brackets
(whether it be by rank, favorite colored uniform, or best mascot...) and follow along. Love it.
