In honor of Dr. Seuss, James enjoyed participating in several fun school activities last week. On Wednesday, he put together this ensemble, including inside out and backwards pants, shorts, shirt, pajama belt, crazy socks and one of Daddy's shirts- because he'd noticed the characters in Dr. Seuss books wear baggy clothes (?). He then took great care to gel and blow dry his hair to resemble Sam I Am's.
When drop-off time came, James waited in the car for 5 minutes until the bell rang, as I had to convince him that although he didn't see many classmates dressed up, it was indeed the right day.

Oh, dear! What's the rest of the story? Did anyone else dress up? How did James feel about his creative outfit by the end of the day? Did he have fun? Grandpa and I were two of only a handful of people who dressed up for our Masters Circle costume party, out of about 150 people. That can be a little unnerving.
Poor James - He looked super cute! hopefully other kids did dress up too. It sounds like lots of fun!
He looks so cute! I ditto the other comments! I hope he had a good day at school! :)
