K, seriously......that was so precious! That kind of wish is a direct result of some awesome parenting and a family full of love! What a reward! That was totally touching! What a sweetie!
Jimmy was right on with the guess of me and Camie and Davey is in the middle of the class picture too. I think Jimmy was in the other "special" class that year and Alesha and Gina fought over who liked him the most. Ha! Ha! Your little girl is so precious. Add us to your list is you go private if you don't mind. It's fun to catch up every once and awhile. izapastela@aol.com
Karin that is awesome! My little boy heard the "Birthday song" and he had to come and see, I think we watched it about 10 times before I told him that we were all done. He smiled through the whole thing and seemed to love it. What great parents you are!
ok, i have to state this disclaimer, lest anyone think Elizabeth is heading straight to the Celectial Kingdom because of her saintly mother... i bought her a $5.00 Care Bears movie for our long drive home and she watched it several times that week. So much so, that she had certain lines memorized- including the line Wish Bear made "I wish that we could be together forever!" i'm just surprized that she didn't state the next line "oh, I get it, you're a wishing star! I meant I wish we could be friends forever, not stuck on my tummy..."
"This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now." Thomas S. Monson "Finding Joy in the Journey," Ensign, Nov. 2008, 85

What a sweetheart! That is such a great moment to have caught on camera. She is definitely her mother's daughter!

I LOVE it! Even with it being a carebears quote... Her beaming face alone is priceless. :)
