Mini Family Reunion- just for Fun!

When a few siblings gather together, the rest of us do what we can to join in- and that is how we all overlapped at Mom and Dad's for 2 nights last month. Of course we missed Jimmy and Mesia who were away for good reasons- but the rest of us enjoyed playing, talking, and working (some of us more than others) together.

Uncle Rob wins over the kids by taking them in the 'canuzi

All the grandkids help lead the music during Family Home Evening

Anna demonstrates reverence
Before bed, Granmama and Papa stay true to their tradition of "surprising" the kids with a book before bed.

These even came with CDs that read the story then sing a song.
We all enjoyed visiting the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point where Anna held hands and helped us get through the maze...

Then James and Elizabeth are happy to give wet hugs!

Uncle Rob and Kristin race the kids down the hill where we enjoyed the waterfalls.

rolling is fun, too...

Aunt Jenesse and Elizabeth play "wrapper head"
Just the girls
Rob and Jenesse look high, while Mamaw and Sissy check out the cookies down low. Yummy!

I was also grateful to catch up with a few friends for storytime and treats at Borders, then watch the kids play while we ate her delicious lunch (waiting for recipes, Bec!) and Tricia was so sweet to stop buy in her busy schedule and delighted the kids with thoughtful activities for the car. I vow to document with PiCtUrEs next time!

Karin, it was SO good to see you! You are such a cute, amazing mom! I wish I had the energy to do all the fun things that you do with your kids! They are so lucky to have you! They're adoreable! We should get together when you come down again, if you have the time! LOVE YA!

That's really embarrassing! "...STILL some of the pix." ...?! Where'd that come from? Of course I meant STEAL. I guess that's what happens when 10:00 at night starts feeling like 1:00 in the morning lately.
