Snack Time
So what if 90% of the class threw them away. We had fun making the snack James came up with for his kindergarten class; the airplane (grapes with banana on a toothpick) and Mexican boaters (tomatoes for head, carrot for sombrero and celery for the boat).

What a nice Mommy you are. I just send a package of Graham crackers and string cheese! Who came up with the PC term Mexican boaters? You guys are nuts!
Are those kids loco? I'd sail that Mexican Boater through a rio grande of salsa ranch right into my mouth. Yummy.
I must say, sending "Mexican Boaters" to kindergarten may have ruined your political career aspirations.
One more thought. Are any kids from families that attended your Chicken in a yogurt container dinner? You may be getting a reputation.

Karin, you have made it into the Mother's Hall of Fame. James is obviously delighted with his vegetables, which is a great achievement. Although his classmates may not have eaten them, I bet they loved playing with them. Judging from the photo, they would have made great earrings too. I'd like to see what you do to top that next month.
