Spring Yellowstone Trip

12 hours of travel time, plus driving throughout the park? Pipecleaners to the rescue!
(check out the cutest moose ever! Love it, JameRs!)

We always sleep in hotels in Cooke City and Gardner (just outside the park) but this trip we stayed in a little cottage our friends found in Mammoth.

This buffalo was hilarious as he got rid of an itch by rubbing against this post!

We went with my high school neighbor and her fam; I love that we, our husbands and our kiddos are such good friends! Thanks again, Bigler's!!!

Our attempt at a kid's group shot-We ended up with all the kiddo's in our van at one point. They enjoyed their turn in the Bigler's car too, with a chance to watch movies!

Mmm, Nate dishes up Marci's delicious dutch oven! Upclose and personal with the big horn sheep. We found this park in Cook City, when we left Yellowstone for dinner.

All of a sudden we heard a rumble roar and witnessed this avalanche!

Sissy looking at a "fossil"(?)And this is how they spent their time: looking for "pip squeaks". (Their affectionate name for ground squirrels.)
After loading all of these pictures, the last 1/2 dozen or so failed. (i know- you'd think this first 100 would be enough...) maybe I'll get around to adding the others.
but most likely not...
