Seriously, what kind of a fortune is this? It was Anna's, so I suppose that's fitting...
James and Elizabeth decorated by designing dragon & rat placemats and hanging lanterns. Thanks to Panda express for complimenting our simple stir fry with egg drop soup, pot stickers, chopsticks and fortune cookies- all for $4.50. Hope our lack of authenticity isn't offensive, Ie Li. Next year, we'll invite ourselves over for some homemade potstickers!

How fun! I am so sorry about sweet little Anna! OH, that is the worst. What a nightmare. The fortune it hysterical! May she never forget to ask her mother!
They use chopsticks like true Americans. I'm impressed they're even trying.
Not at all Karin! We have family coming into town today and Steve had scouts last night so we didn't even do anything for Chinese New Year. Maybe I'll try to make my potstickers next week. Or maybe not. PF Chang's?
Mmmm PF Changs sounds good to me!!! OK, I have to add- while James was eating the shrimp stir fry, he exclaimed "Mmmm, this is really good shrimp. Heavenly Father did a good job making it." (while cooking it, he insisted on keeping his few pieces of shrimp seperate, so he could enjoy the full flavor...?)
Wow, I didn't know you had a blog! How fun! I love your family picture! We are getting one this month. It's amazing when poetry comes to mind... even 4 am! Thanks to Zander. Are we still on for the Temple on the 16th??? I know you have wedding this weekend so let us know. We may only have Canberra and Zander with us. The older boys may be at a sleep over. It would be nice to go in the Temple with ya! If your up for Hawaiian food there is a place east of us a few miles we can go to. I'm sure it's kid friendly. If you ever go to PF Chang's and you like Salmon you HAVE to get the $17 Salmon with citrus soy sauce. I LOVED IT! YUMMY! See you Sunday??
