Story time and Valentine's party at the library was followed by crafty fun with neighbor Olivia
then a delicioulsy gourmet dinner (Jimmy started night flights- they're lucky it was more than cheerios...) ...with new V-day distinguished guests sitting atop the table.
Jim pitched in on the fundraiser of Heber J. Grant Acadamy and had Riley and Georgia bring a singing telegram along with a candybar and long stem rose. It was very sweet and they sang "You are my Sunshine" amazingly well! I loved it!!! Guess I'll go check on those cookies one more time and hit the sac...
Happy Valentine's Day! Love, our very own Care Bears
Wow. You guys really know how to party! I love it. Lots of hugs and kisses to those sweet little Valentines. Glad you all had such a festive celebration. (Those candy cane shirts work great for this holiday.)
"This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now." Thomas S. Monson "Finding Joy in the Journey," Ensign, Nov. 2008, 85

Hey, those are BEAUTIFUL cookies! Should've seen ours. You couldn't find Adam w/the dozens of conversation hearts piled on top...
That frosting looks delicious. I love cream cheese frosting.
