Hawkes Havin' Fun

This is how we have fun! The above collage is of a bonfire we had up in the Mountains with some friends. The mallows were delicious and the burning Christmas tree was an impressive sight! James, Kaleb, Elizabeth, Anna and Anna are great buddies!

Saturday night the little girls fell asleep in the truck as the boys rode in the back spotlighting for deer. And deer we did see! Along with a coatimundi (ringtail cat), several rabbits, some unidentified creature that was crouched and hiding... and either a skunk or a wolverine. The desert is an exciting place at night! Stay tuned for more reportings on our sightings...
