(no, i did NOT have her pose for this shot- I did not want to give any glory to her naughtiness... she was just starting to say something, and the shot happens to show just how much was chunked out!)
Any recommendations? Or is a short little bob the inevitable?

AHHHHHHH!!!!! YOu are such the good mom to just be so happy and take picures of the whole thing. I bet she will look great with a short hair cut and thank goodness hair grows back. :)
OH MY BLAST!!! She had gorgeous hair! It will grow back, it will grow back it will grow back!!! I don't think you have to go as far as a bob though, I wouldn't. There are other cute styles out there with layers and such where you don't have to make it any shorter! It's NOT that bad really. It's still longer than most girls out there. So I vote NO on the bob although her face is round and it would look cute, I'd keep it long and have it cut right to look cute. Be sure to post a picture!

As traumatic as this was for both of you, I'm going to bet that this is not the last time. I'm sure my girls each did it, Lisa several times. Once Lisa cut off a pigtail at the elastic and once she cut her bangs off to the scalp. If you didn't scream when you saw the damage, you are to be commended. Elizabeth still has long hair compared to most girls and now she has a fun new summer do. Very cute.
Holy crap, my time is coming. I've tried to scare the bejeebies out of Aliya by showing her the pictures but I know soon enough she'll be cutting her hair too. She's such a turd though she'll cut off a whole ponytail or two (and Taeya's as well). I say go for the bob. Keep it all one length. You know it'll grow back, that kid has killer hair!
Oh.......the fun I have to look forward to! :) She would look so adoreable in a little bob and it would be fun to have her cut her hair short like Mommy! Either way, she is a beautiful girl and you are a very patient mom!
