Traditions

We all have fun family traditions- many are similar. Like Granma giving us new jammies on Christmas Eve, or getting to choose our breakfast, lunch and dinner on our birthdays. One tradition that may be unique to my childhood memories was that of sitting on Grandma Woodcock's front porch during a thunderstorm, eating popcorn. I remember one visit in particular. We kids were all sleeping down in the basement, and I remember my mom and grandma coming down stairs to see if any of us happened to be awake. Lucky me- I heard them check on us, and I got to go out on the porch late at night, just me, my mom and my grandma, with our bowl of popcorn to enjoy the storm.

What traditions do you carry on?

could the kids be any cuter? I think not! The photo shoot is adorable and you are right...they are growing up way to fast...good grief does James have his driver's license yet? You are such an awesome mother...I mean it! Playing in the rain looks like a complete blast! And you assure Sissy that her "run from your life" comment has gotten a lot of use! love you lots!
