Sunday Mornings

The kids seem to take turns with who wakes up first, but one thing is for sure, they love each other in the morning! Everyone seems to start with a clean slate and they just adore one another! This particular morning, Anna was in the kitchen with me when all of a sudden she began gibber-jabbering and running to the stairs. Sure enough, Jamers was awake! Moments later, Sissy came down and they each took turns hugging.

We enjoy our Sunday mornings with daddy- especially walks to the ponds.

One great thing about afternoon church (and by that, I mean 3:00 church. yes, for what, 2 years? believe it...) is ALL the family time in the morning.
The kids were having a ball with croquet

(watch out uncle Jeff, we've got serious talent here)

...Until they discovered the mounds of boxes ready to be trashed... That was fun, too.
And the finished product- all ready for church.

and this picture just sneaked in somehow, but since it's here, I'll just comment that Elizabeth LOVES her dollies! This one is the favorite this week, because we just found a new dress for her. A "new" dress my mom sewed to match my own jumper she'd made for me when I was little.

I loved this post. I love that your children love each other on Sunday mornings, walk to the ponds, and play croquet. It's all just so lovely. Beautiful family.

3:00 church - that is just wrong!!! At least you might be able to get a nap in for Anna before church. Crockpot dinners is a must!!!

So I love Sunday a.m. too! The thing I hate is the destruction that occurs in the short time after church and before bed. Why are Sundays the messiest day of the week (I swear its because Tony is home too). I want to see pictures of Elizabeths new hairdo. I showed Aliya the pictures and have threatened her w/ her life!
